Father Time and Lady Technology


In the beginning, Father Time watched mankind struggle with advancement. He then created Lady Technology who has supplied mankind with knowledge. However, as time continued Lady Technology has been able to adapt and “renew” herself while Father Time has grown withered and old. He has survived centuries due to his Creation’s ability to keep him alive. He has become the wisest and most all knowing being, but he is unable to function though he gives input through Lady Technology. Now married to his technology, Father Time conserves his energy depending on Lady Technology for most of his actions. They have become a symbiosis dependent on each other for survival. No they are NOT Egyptian so don’t bother bugging me! They’re not gods or deities. They’re metaphorical entities. I'll tweek later.

Are you going to model both?

Yes Ma'am Ms. Gardner. I'm not expecting to do exceedingly well in this war as just getting things in motion has been extremely taxing. Nonetheless, I want a dichotomy in the two beings; metal and flesh. Hopefully I can pull it off. I'll rework the concept I'm sure, but I wanted to get the basic idea out there.

the asset for this piece should be the daughter Destiny. she is the virus that is implanted into lady technology....thus destroying her and all knowledge rebooting society to our primal roots. or she can be a fat chick.

Wow Sam. I think this is a badass concept. your back story is genius. The metaphoric and symbolic contrast leaves me curious to see the complements of organic vs. mechanic in 3D.
I would suggest some draw through to help you see more depth and to get a better idea of the shape of Lady Technology. If you are comfortable in photoshop, try to layout detail using
layers. Try using the bottom layer as your "basic shape" layer, then further adding "detailed shape" layers over top using the previous layers as foundation. Once you get it into 3DS
you'll be able to better see the depth of shape. Really though, awesome overall complimentary scheme.

Well I've developed this thing a little more. I'm trying to narrow her down sexilly? I moved him from the chest to the womb for metaphorical and obvious reasons. I'll do a color tone version soon, but I had to draw this by hand.

Here's a tone for the color options. I've taken inspiration from the Covenant in Halo, Magneto, and a Sentinal. I'm almost wrapped up with the concept altogether...
Seems like the best thing to do is break her apart and build her in pieces...

dude im really liking the concept, the back story is really cool and well thought out. i can't wait to see these hard surface organic-e shapes modeled out!

i really like the colors you have chosen to use too, i think the Halo covenant colors will really fit nicely with the character!

my only critique/suggestion is to make sure that the father time is as big as you can get it seeing as it's will be a major focal point on this character. but really, that's all i can see that you may want to keep in mind.

It's obvious I won't finish in time due to circumstances, but I'll hustle with my N.O.O.B. warriors until the end! I went to the Diverge Workshop this weekend (http://www.divergeworkshops.info) and it was well worth it. Nonetheless I've got the base mesh here and I'm about to ZBro for the first time in a long time.

Believe it or not this is the resolution I have while I'm tryin to work....
Zbro is testing me
